The repair tape our crews keep in every kit. Almost every hole or tear in an inflatable screen frame comes from a puncture — a stake, some gravel, something dragged across the fabric — not from wind. As long as the damage isn't at a load-bearing point (the strap and rope connection anchors), it's a quick field repair you can do yourself.

Tear-Aid Type B is made for vinyl and vinyl-coated material. It contains an inhibitor that blocks the oils in vinyl, so the bond lasts instead of turning gummy over time. The patch is see-thru (works on any color frame), UV-resistant so it won't yellow, conforms to irregular surfaces, and holds in high heat — no glue, no sewing, no mess.

Quick field repair (full step-by-step on our blog):

  1. Find the nearest zippered opening to the tear and reach inside — use a headlamp if you need the light. Clean the material around the tear.
  2. Pinch the gap closed, lay Tear-Aid over the tear on the inside, and press it firmly into the material. It bonds within minutes and seals permanently.
  3. Apply a second piece to the outside of the same spot. The inside patch does the real work — no abrasion can peel it away — while the outside patch protects it.

Each box contains one 3 in × 5 ft roll that cuts to any size with scissors, two alcohol prep pads, and illustrated instructions. Made in the U.S.A.
