Downtown's outdoor movie series began its 10th season on the 7th with "Adam's Rib," a 1949 comedy starring Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. The outdoor films are planned to continue throughout the summer.
Outdoor movies are screened at 7:30 p.m. every Thursday through October at La Placita Village, at West Broadway and Church Avenue. You get free popcorn with your donation of $3.

May 14 "Cool Hand Luke."
May 21 "Topper."
May 28 "We're No Angels."
