), who discovers E.T. after he was abandoned by his fellow alien botanists when they fled in the presence of government officials. Elliot famously lured E.T. back to his home with recees pieces, and helped him hide out with the aide of his little sister Gertie (the debut performance of Drew Barrymore
). The film brilliantly shows the journey of discovery and adventure of Elliot and E.T., and is a classic film that the entire family will enjoy.
