There are three stunning outdoor cinemas in Sydney in summer. The OpenAir Cinema at Sydney Harbour (to be seen to be believed), the Moonlight Cinema at Centennial Park and the Starlight Cinema at Manly Beach. Ever since the death of the drive-in, there's no better way to go to the movies than under the stars in a beautiful natural setting.
2) Open air concerts
There are thirty plus outdoor concerts in Sydney each summer. There's the Big Day Out at the Sydney Showground, featuring international bands and DJs. There's Homebake, featuring Australian bands.
