West Seattle, Washington: West Seattle 'Movies on the Wall' Screens Outdoor Movies This Summer

Outdoor Movies on the Wall in West Seattle, Washington

For what little is left of the summer, don't miss West Seattle's outdoor movie screenings at "Movies on the Wall". Movies are screened every Saturday night through August.

These are more than just outdoor film shows: they set up elaborate pre-show entertainment such as go-go dancing, a "beasts with bananas" race, and an opportunity to make tin foil hats while listening to the Close Encounters theme song.

These people take movies seriously -without taking it seriously! These events will be fun for the whole family so don't miss out. The movies will be held in the courtyard between Dr. Wolff & Hotwire Coffee at 4400 California Ave Southwest. Doors open at 6pm with movies starting at dusk. There will also be concessions and charity raffles. Movie-goers should bring blankets and chairs.

Outdoor Movie Schedule:

  • Aug. 1 -Footloose (PG)
  • Aug. 8 -Close Encounters of the Third Kind (PG)
  • Aug. 15 -Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (PG-13)
  • Aug. 22 -Cars (G)
