Werribee, Australia: Outdoor 'Dive-In' Movies at the Werribee Olympic Pool, Australia

Dive-In Outdoor Movies at Werribee Outdoor Pool, Australia

Dive-In Movies brought outdoor cinema to the Werribee Outdoor Olympic Pool in Victoria, Australia, with screenings throughout January. Residents could bring food and a blanket, watch a movie on the lawn, and let children swim in the pool simultaneously.

Wyndham Council place manager Craig Toussaint said pool activities, ‘giant lawn games,’ and kids’ karaoke were all included at the standard pool entry price, along with a sausage sizzle and popcorn and refreshments from the pool kiosk. The programme ran from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with the film beginning at 8:45 p.m. Finding Nemo screened on 10 January 2009 and The Incredibles on 31 January.
