Each Summer, Sundance Resort & Sundance Institute present free outdoor screenings of films from the Sundance Film Festival archives. The Sundance Outdoor Film Festival is an opportunity for local movie-goers view great independent films they may have missed at previous Sundance Film Festivals, as well as for the Institute to thank the Utah community for the continuing support of its programs.
