State College, Pennsylvania: Outdoor Movies in State College, Pennsylvania

The Banff Mountain Film Festival came to State College, Pennsylvania, for two nights at State College High School — Sunday, April 27 and Monday, April 28, starting at 7 p.m. Different programmes each night span culture, conservation, and pure action. Sunday featured a section from “King Lines” with Chris Sharma deep-water soloing in Mallorca. Monday included a climbing photography film and a segment with Will Gadd climbing ice in underground mines in Sweden.
The Sierra Club Moshannon Group hosted the event; C3PA had a booth both evenings. The films bring together the local outdoor community — a good place to meet people, see old friends, and pick up some great door prizes.
