Outdoor Movies in Sopot and Zakopane,, PolandIf you happen to travel between the Baltic resort of Sopot and Zakopane in the Tatras by train this summer, you will have the chance to see several feature films, at no extra cost. PKP Polish Railways, the Orange mobile phone operator and Outdoor Cinema have introduced a special ‘cinema carriage' on what is one of the longest train routes in Poland - at 15 hours long - between 1 July and 31 August. Up to six films will be shown, including such box office successes as Slumdog Millionaire, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Lost in Translation and Pulp Fiction. As part of the project involving the sister cities of Sopot and Zakopane, the same films will be shown in open-air locations in both towns, also free of charge. Known as Poland's summer and winter capitals, Sopot and Zakopane are by far the most popular tourist destinations in Poland.
