Shreveport, Louisiana: Outdoor Movies in Northwest Louisiana (2008 Season)

Movies & Moonbeams presents family-friendly outdoor cinema in public spaces across Northwest Louisiana. Events are organized by Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation and The Robinson Film Center. Most events are free; larger events with giveaways and concessions charge $1 admission.

The 2008 season opened January 4 with School of Rock (Jack Black), with Guitar Hero 2 on the big screen before dark. The schedule included The Legend of Bagger Vance at Querbes Golf Course (Apr 18), The Wizard of Oz (Oct 3), and Big in the Kohl’s parking lot (Nov 21). All 2008 events are free.
