Seattle, Washington: Zombies Enjoy Outdoor Movies Too!

Fremont Outdoor Movieswill once again host a massive zombie walk and festival set to take over a couple blocks in the arty, funky neighborhood. This time, organizer Ryan Reiter hopes to draw more than the 3,894 certified zombies who helped clinch Seattle's record at "Red, White and Dead" last year. And not just enough to beat Big Chill's 4,026.

He's hoping for at least 8,000.

"We've got to hold this record," Reiter said. "I think we can do it."

The July 3 festival will feature a zombie fashion show, musical performances, special guests, a screening of the zombie classic "Dawn of the Dead" and yet another zombie "Thriller Dance."
