Seattle, Washington: Help Choose Outdoor Movies to Be Shown This Summer in Seattle, Washington
.
'Jaws' on a big screen. That's what I voted for. I'm sentimental like that. Every year the Seattle Center hosts free outdoor movies at the Mural Amphitheatre in August, and dates have been announced for summer 2009. We're also invited to vote for the top three movies we'd like to see at the outdoor cinema. To vote for the outdoor movie of your choice, go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=DyeNdsc54gy7cMj7sIcSrA_3d_3d and write in your top three choices. Most years I would say it's too early to be thinking about summer now, but this recent round of sunshine has me dreaming of blooming flowers, gentle breezes and the lush lawn of the Mural Amphitheatre with a 25 foot shark on the outdoor movie screen terrorizing hapless swimmers. Ah, summer...
Keep in mind while making your choices that this is the Seattle Center and it's highly unlikely that anything above a PG-13 movie will be picked to play. Oh, and we probably won't know until summer what movies get picked. I'm willing to wait. Movies under the stars in our own open air cinema is the perfect way to spend a summer evening, and i'll be waiting for it all through the coming months.
