San Antonio, Texas: Games2U and MX3 Present Outdoor Movies and Video Games on an Inflatable Screen
Mx3 Group LLC, an automotive special-events marketing firm in San Antonio, has purchased franchise rights from Austin-based Games2U. Games2U is a mobile entertainment center company that gives franchisees the ability to offer video games, laser tag and to show outdoor movies to school groups, church groups and employee outings.
The Games2U mobilevVideo game theater is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, lighting, sound and special effects, including five flat-screen HD television displays. Customers rent the use of this mobile center. Up to 20 people can play outdoor laser tag and the center comes with large inflatable movie screens to create an outdoor cinema.
Mx3 bought the franchise rights to 29 zip codes in San Antonio, giving the company the ability to market mobile party services in much of San Antonio including neighborhoods in the Stone Oak, Dominion, Olmos Park and Terrell Hills areas.
The Games2U concept was created in late 2007 by Stu and David Pikoff in Austin. The Pikoffs' goal is to have as many as 100 franchise units in service by the end of 2009.
Our Games2U mobile entertainment center is enclosed in a self-powered, climate-controlled Mercedes-Benz Sprinter truck that comes directly to you, says Michael Moody, president and CEO of The Mx3 Group and the newly formed San Antonio Games2U LLC. All we need is a place to park, which allows us to facilitate your corporate team-building event, birthday party, community event or fund-raiser virtually anywhere.
The Mx3 Group has been in business in San Antonio for 30 years and specializes in the planning and execution of live sales training, press and consumer shows on behalf of national corporate clients. The addition of the Games2U franchise to the company's business portfolio is designed to keep Mx3 competitive in the current economy, Moody says.
As a die-hard entrepreneur, I'm constantly looking for the next prime opportunity to diversify Mx3's portfolio, and the exciting Games2U business model provided exactly that, Moody adds.
