Redmond, Washington: Outdoor Cinema Screening of 'The Muppet Movie' Was a Hit for Movies@Marymoor

Movies@Marymoor is one of Washington's many outdoor cinema series', and crowds came out to see "The Muppet Movie" on Aug. 5. King County Parks and Recreation teamed up with the Experience Music Project | Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (EMP|SFM) to present pre-movie entertainment, games, and prizes before they screened the outdoor movie.

Movies@Marymoor screens lots of movies in the park, but this particular film was a special part of a traveling exhibit called Jim Henson's Fantastic World , hosted by EMP|SFM.

Movie-goers who attended this particular outdoor film screening and donated to the movie series also received a free two-for-one pass to the Jim Henson exhibit.

Admission is technically free, but a $5 per person or $15 per family donation is suggested, which helps King County Parks underwrite the movie series. Attendees to the outdoor cinema reported lots of fun to be had for the whole family at this beloved family classic.
