Raleigh, North Carolina: Outdoor Movies Mark Triangle Summer

Summer in North Carolina meant outdoor movies and concerts across the Triangle throughout 2008. In Raleigh's North Hills, in Durham at American Tobacco Campus, and at public parks across the region, most events were free and family-friendly.

The North Carolina Museum of Art offered a summer outdoor movie series at just $3 admission, projecting films digitally on Friday and Saturday nights through the end of September. “There's something about being in the city, being able to go watch a movie outside on a huge screen,” said one attendee.
