Porterville, California: Porterville Presents Outdoor Movies

Porterville Parks and Leisure Services is presenting two free summer outdoor movie programs for families.

Movies in the Park runs every Thursday in Murry Park for four weeks, starting July 24: Underdog (July 24), Bee Movie (July 31), Alvin and the Chipmunks (Aug. 7), Enchanted (Aug. 14). Events start at 7:30 p.m., movies begin at dusk. Free admission; bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Dive-In Theater runs every Friday at the Murry Park city pool for four weeks, starting July 25: Ratatouille (July 25), Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief (Aug. 1), Spiderwick Chronicles (Aug. 8), Daddy Day Camp (Aug. 15). Floaties welcome — watch the movie from the pool.
