Pasadena, California: Outdoor Movies Screened in Downtown Old Pasadena, California
This weekend marks the final installment of the outdoor movie series in Old Pasadena, California. Those of you who live in the San Gabriel Valley already know that Old Pasadena is a great downtown area for shopping, dining, and community events. For the past two weeks, outdoor films have been screened around the downtown area, from the top of the Schoolhouse parking structure to the One Colorado courtyard. Film screenings have included classic films such as "West Side Story" and "Singin' in the Rain". One very special outdoor cinema screening showed the silent classic "Daddy Long-Legs," complete with live orchestral accompaniment. Most people have not gotten a chance to see these incredible films on the big screen, so this has been a very special event for the Southland.
All of the events in the outdoor cinema series are free. Movie-goers have enjoyed the films against the backdrop of Old Pasadena's vintage architecture. There are two days left in the series this upcoming weekend, so don't miss these classic movies under the stars.
