Paris, France: Movie-goers Flock to the Parc de la Villette for an Outdoor Movie Series
Every year during the glorious Parisian summer, film fans converge on the Parc de la Villette for outdoor movie screenings of a wide variety of films.
This year's theme, Ava, Rita, Gina... Les Stars et Leurs Pygmalions looks at Hollywood's greatest stars, what it was that made them shine so brightly on the silver screen, and the directors who launched their stellar careers.
The Parc de la Villette was built as an urban renewal project for one of Paris' more destitute areas, and the modern architecture of its buildings and layout make it an ideal place to relax and watch a couple of your favourite films. These are either shown in "VO" (original language) or dubbed in French.
