Palm Beach, Florida: Friday Night Flicks Outdoor Movies

Palm Beach, Florida's Sunset Cove Amphitheater hosted free Movies Under the Stars on the second Friday of each month throughout 2008. The county park features a 4,000-seat open-air amphitheater, restrooms, concession areas, and a boat ramp on Biscayne Bay. Gates opened at 7 p.m.; movies started at dusk (approximately 8:15 p.m.).

September's film was Hairspray (2007), preceded by the short Get Ready! October brought Bee Movie (2007). The screenings were cosponsored by local Palm Beach businesses. No outside food or beverages; concessions available on site. 21805 Inspiration Drive, Boca Raton.
