Outdoor Screening of 'Love Sees No Color' in Los Angeles, California

Los Angeles has never lacked for premieres, but this one arrived with a slightly different kind of spotlight. Cher—Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy Award winner, and tireless humanitarian—along with the Cher Charitable Foundation, hosted the Foundation’s inaugural West Coast benefit, and did so outdoors, under the open sky of Century City, on Wednesday, November 28.
The event took place in the plaza at 2000 Constellation Avenue, nestled between Avenue of the Stars and Century Park East—a setting well suited to an evening that combined elegance with purpose. The schedule unfolded with reassuring precision: a V.I.P. reception from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by an elegant dinner, and culminating in the premiere of the short film Love Sees No Color.
The film itself is an ambitious twelve-minute production starring songwriter, recording artist, and international peace activist Nassiri. Its scope is quietly remarkable. The music featured in the film is sung by thousands of children, in 15 languages, across 18 countries, and the footage was captured by 18 of the world’s most accomplished directors and producers. “The premiere of Love Sees No Color was a joyous occasion to celebrate the mission of achieving world peace,” Cher said, noting that the film demonstrates how music can play a vital role in spreading messages of peace, love, and unity.
Appropriately, the film was screened outdoors on a portable inflatable screen and projection system provided by Open Air Cinema, reminding everyone present that meaningful moments do not require walls—just the right story, the right setting, and a screen large enough to share it.
