In Aachen, Germany, the series “Extraordinary Films in Extraordinary Places” resumed with two events after a longer pause. On Saturday, September 20, an outdoor cinema screened Billy Elliot -- I Will Dance (UK, 2000, dir. Stephen Daldry) in the new amphitheater at Kennedypark, accompanied by dance groups from Aachen's eastern district. Admission was free; showtime 9 p.m.
On October 31, the silent-film classic Nosferatu screened with live music in the shadow of the Ostfriedhof cemetery.
