Outdoor Home Theater System 20' now comes with a laser projector

Open Air Cinema Home systems are designed with backyard cinema enthusiasts in mind. However, we researched who actually uses these systems and found that many city governments and other government entities choose this equipment for community events and film festivals — and even military bases.

Our Home 20’ outdoor movie theater was used for Hangar Drive-in events in London and a traveling documentary film festival in Ukraine. Taking this into account, we decided to step up our projector game for the 20’ × 11’ Home outdoor movie systems.

Now our Home 20’ system comes with a 4,000 laser-lumen outdoor projector from Optoma (the Optoma ZH400).

With this outdoor movie projector our customers get a 30,000-hour light-source lifespan and up to 45% lower power consumption compared to Optoma's lamp-based projectors. Thanks to laser technology, the ZH400 is IP6X certified, and it's up to 34% smaller and lighter than earlier comparable models.

Beyond the projector upgrade in 2023–2024, Open Air Cinema customers also get a refreshed Mackie Thump 215 portable audio system with 15″ low-frequency speakers and 1,400 W of sound power.
