Every Optoma projector offers a “Test Pattern” function that displays a high-contrast grid.
How is a test pattern helpful?
Projecting a grid on your screen lets you set the image position, apply keystone correction, and set focus.
The test pattern helps you quickly zoom in or out to set the image position, and it's the best way to focus precisely and dial in keystone correction. Even before sunset the grid is easy to see on your screen, so you can save valuable time setting up the image while it's still too light to see the movie.
