Open Air Cinema at Fork Fest 2010
Yesterday Open Air Cinema sponsored the First Annual Fork Fest in American Fork, Utah! The Fork Fest is a Music and Arts festival, with a focus on music that is local to Utah. The festival featured sets from local (and in many cases national) favorites such as Joshua James, The Fictionist, Desert Noises, Sharkspeed, Imagine Dragons, Parlor Hawk, Devil Whale, Future of the Ghost, among many others!
Open Air Cinema donated two 20' Outdoor Movie screens to the event. The giant screens were placed behind each of the two main stages, and displayed video content prepared especially for the event by artists working in conjunction with the bands. Thousands of Utah music fans showed up to see their favorite acts, and by anyone's standards the event was a huge success.
Below is a video of the Devil Whale playing at the festival in front of one of the Open Air Cinema 20' inflatable movie screens (It was in the middle of the day, so there wasn't any video projected on the screens during the Devil Whale's performance).

We took a few snapshots of the Open Air Cinema screens in action, and have included them in the gallery below. We'll post more photos and video as they become available.
