Mountain View, California: Mountain View Parks and Recreation Hosts Summer Outdoor Movie Nights

This summer was a good one for outdoor movies, especially if you live in Mountain View, California. This summer, Mountain View Parks and Recreation hosted a free outdoor cinema series. The films were family-friendly titles such as Kung Fu Panda. They were screened in Rengstorff Park with free popcorn and refreshments served. The movie series gave local residents and visitors to Mountain View a unique opportunity to get out in the fresh air and interact with the rest of the community. Friends, family, and neighbors alike gathered to watch some of their favorite movies under the stars. These movies in the parks were a very successful venture brought about by the Parks and Recreation department, and I hope that other cities and towns will take their lead and introduce outdoor films to their communities as well. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the magic of open air cinema!
