Milwaukee, Wisconsin: 'Fish Flick' Features Outdoor Films and Fish Fry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Come enjoy outdoor movies and fish fry at Discovery World's "Fish Fry and a Flick" on the lakefront. All movies are free with a fish fry dinner and the outdoor films begin at dusk. Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin has positioned itself fairly well despite a challenging economy. According to Joel Brennan, president and chief executive officer, help from partners such as Rockwell Automation Inc., Johnson Controls Inc., The Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater and Bartolotta's catering has allowed the organization to do more with less and continue celebrating creativity and innovation through its events and exhibits.
Discovery World recently kicked off its Wednesday night Live @ the Lakefront Event in Partnership with the Milwaukee Rotary Club, and Bartolotta's Catering. Next week's show will feature bluegrass band Salt Creek with Colin O'Brien on banjo, Guy Fiorentini playing stand up bass, Jim Eannelli on guitar and Erik Radloff playing percussion.
Friday, July 10, will kick off the organization's newest event series known as Fish Fry and a Flick. Targeted toward adults, the event will feature a fish fry and a 30-foot inflatable movie screen to show outdoor movies such as "King Pin," "Animal House" and "Caddy Shack," Brennan said.
