Los Angeles, California: Film Aid Charity Event Brings Celebrity Appeal to Outdoor Movies

Actress Kate Beckinsale and her husband, director Len Wiseman, hosted a Martin + Osa FilmAid outdoor screening of All About Eve at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The garden-party fundraiser raised money for FilmAid International, the organisation that brings outdoor film screenings to African refugee camps and other vulnerable communities worldwide.

“My husband and I are hosting it together, so it was actually quite tricky -- he's a boy and I'm a girl, so we had a few arguments,” Beckinsale said of the film selection. “But this one we both love.” Among those attending: Winona Ryder, Jacinda Barrett with husband Gabriel Macht and their new baby, and Melissa George.
