Locarno, Switzerland: Open-Air Cinema and Unique Projectors are Featured at the Locarno Film Festival

The 61st Locarno Film Festival used Barco DP-3000 digital cinema projectors for its celebrated open-air screenings at Piazza Grande, where a 26-meter screen and seating for 8,000 spectators transform the town square each August evening. Around 190,000 cinemagoers, 1,000 journalists, and 3,200 industry professionals attend the eleven-day festival annually. Barco was selected by XDC as exclusive projector supplier for the event.
