Library Starting Outdoor Movie Nights
Looking for some fun and free family entertainment? Then consider "Stars Under the Stars" on the Capitol lawn.
The Missouri River Regional Library and city parks departily-oriented flicks on a giant inflatable screen at dusk on select Friday nights. Just be sure to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and munchies (no alcoholic beverages).
Preshow activities starting at 7:30 p.m. include pirate games and a treasure hunt. Shows start about 8:30 p.m.
The following movies will be shown:
* "The Goonies" on June 12.* "Singin' In the Rain" on June 17.* The Princess Bride" on Aug. 7.
