Outdoor Movies Return to Harris Riverfront Park for Summer

Outdoor Movies in Huntington, West VirginniaStarlight Cinema is returning to Harris Riverfront Park this summer. The popular movie series has become a family favorite and will begin this month. At Starlight Cinema, movie-goers are invited to leave the car in the parking lot and spend the evening under the stars, with the Ohio River as their backdrop. Starlight features movies that are shown on a custom designed 20' x 40' screen, using 35mm projection. Each movie weekend features a family movie on Friday rate G or PG and a grown-up movie on Saturday rated PG or PG13. There will be a total of four movie weekends in the series this summer. Movie weekends this summer are June 19 & 20, July 10 & 11, July 31 and August 1, and September 4 & 5. Showing at Starlight Cinema on June 19 is Kung Fu Panda, which is rated PG. The feature for June 20 is He's Just Not That Into You, which is rated PG13. Admission is free with a ticket. Tickets are available beginning Monday, June 8 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
