Fontana, California: Dive-in Theater Features Outdoor Movies by the Pool

Fontana’s Dive-In Movie Night series at Heritage Pool has become one of the summer’s standout attractions. The event — swimming plus a family-oriented movie on a huge screen — begins at 6:30 p.m., but arrive by 5 p.m. to get in line.

Friday nights routinely sell out with 300-plus attendees, and the city runs Saturday repeats that aren’t widely advertised but are just as open. Admission: $1.50 for children, $3 for adults. The pool is at 7350 W. Liberty Parkway (south of Baseline Avenue) in northwestern Fontana.
