An Open Air Cinema inflatable movie screen is the ideal projection surface for almost every situation, however there are a few occasions where a Fold-Out Movie Screen has some advantages. The fold out movie screen does not require any power, and this is the main advantage over an inflatable movie screen which does require power for the portable movie screen blower that inflates the screen. Since you'll already be powering your outdoor projector and outdoor speaker system (your speakers are positioned next to your screen and require power if they are active speakers, not passive), power is rarely an issue for your inflatable movie screen. But again, there are a some rare circumstances where a fold out movie screen works nicely.
