Cowra, New South Wales, Australia: Japanese Garden Perfect Setting for Outdoor Movie Screeings
Please allow me the chance to comment on the recent screening of Mamma Mia on the big screen at the Japanese Garden. I had the pleasure of attending with some friends, and was duly impressed.
Impressed by the beautiful location, all of the restaurant staff and Japanese Garden staff in attendance.
The idea of an open air cinema showcasing musicals is a fantastic idea for Cowra!
Having lived in Sydney and Canberra where these events are extremely popular and sought-out, the only thing that surprised me was the poor attendance especially considering I frequently hear children, adults and teens commenting on how little there is to do in this town and how much they miss being able to go to the movies.
Just an observation...
So, why not consider supporting this venture.
Only $10 for adults, $6.50 for pensioners and kids under five free-bargain, it can't be the price.
Popcorn hotdogs, chips, platters, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase at very reasonable prices.
You are also able to bring a fold-out chair or blanket, very cosy indeed.
I highly recommend it and hope a support base continues to grow.
Big thankyou to all involved, you will definitely see myself in attendance, again.
