Chicago, Illinois: Outdoor Movies Offer вЂReal Seats'
Family Movie Night has been attracting hundreds of people each week to the free outdoor movie screenings in Country Club Hills.
We've been getting 150 to 400 people to each movie, city spokeswoman Wanda Comein said.
Movies begin at dusk and typically are concluded around 10 p.m., she said.
The movies are shown on a screen in the city's outdoor movie theater, 4116 W. 183rd St., next to city hall.
I don't want to beat up other towns that show movies, Comein said, but people can sit in real seats at our theater.
Scheduled movies are: Shrek, Wednesday; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, July 30; Shark Tale, Aug. 6; Pride, Aug. 13; and The Water Horse, Aug. 20.
Popcorn and candy are for sale for 50 cents each.
