When midsummer temperatures get sultry, and sitting on your stoop gets boring, it's hard to keep kids occupied. Here is a list of outdoor entertainment around Brooklyn worth checking out. • For a flick under the stars head to Williamsburg for Mondays Under the Moon in East River State Park every Monday in August at 8:30 p.m. Showings include The Astronaut Farmer and 2001: A Space Odyssey. For more info visit: www.nysparks.com • Stop by the Prospect Park Zoo to Samba with the Sea Lions on Sunday, Aug. 17, from noon to 3 p.m. Resident sea lions will dance to live music courtesy of Samba New York.
