Braintree Drive-in Movie Series Begins Next Week

Outdoor Movies in Braintree, MassachusettsDrive-in movies will make a return to Braintree on Wednesday with the first of three Free Family Flick Nights at the Carson Soccer Field at Braintree High School, 128 Town St. The first movie in the series, Bolt, will be shown at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, after the sun goes down. The movies will be projected onto a huge, inflatable movie screen. The town says the sound and picture clarity will be of high quality. Those who plan to watch from their cars should come early to get the closest parking spaces. Those who plan to watch outdoors should bring lawn chairs or beach blankets along with mosquito repellent. Refreshments will be available. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be shown the following night. Other movies in the series are Shrek 2 on July 22 and Toy Story on Aug. 4.
