Fall Festival Features an Outdoor Movie in Beaumont, Texas
OCTOBER 2008. The Port Neches Avenue Merchants Association presented Fall Fest on the Avenue this past weekend on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the corner of Port Neches Avenue and Nall Street.
Fall Fest featured a variety of activities, including an outdoor movie. A pets-in-costume parade and costume contest was held, along with children’s activities such as face painting, a coloring contest, an inflatable slide, a street magician, and other local entertainment. The event also included a car and motorcycle show, as well as various food vendors.
The outdoor movie Monster House was shown on a giant inflatable screen beginning at 8 p.m.
