French outdoor cinema at Santichaiprakarn Park, Bangkok

The Alliance Française and the French Embassy, in partnership with Dudesweet, presented Bangkok’s first outdoor French cinema at Santichaiprakarn Park on Phra Athit Road, January 16–18, 2009. French films screened outdoors (with Thai subtitles) at 7 p.m.; live concerts preceded each evening’s film. Admission was free.

Friday, 16 January

5:30 p.m. — Dudesweet DJs (winter set)
7:30 p.m. — The 400 Blows by François Truffaut (Thai subtitles)

Saturday, 17 January

4:00 p.m. — DJ Will
5:00 p.m. — Gene Kasidit
5:30 p.m. — The Keylook
7:00 p.m. — Sibling Rivalry
7:45 p.m. — Voyous, Voyelles with Audrey Tautou (Amélie, The Da Vinci Code) (English subtitles)
9:45 p.m. — Welcoming party till late

Sunday, 18 January

5:30 p.m. — Dudesweet DJs
7:45 p.m. — Kirikou and the Witch by Michel Ocelot, animated film (Thai subtitles)
