Westport, Connecticut: Outdoor Movies Offered for Teens at Levitt

Westport's Levitt Pavilion hosted its fourth annual TeenFlix outdoor movie series in August 2008, sponsored by the Westport Youth Commission and Toquet Hall. All movies were free, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Monday nights; rain location was Toquet Hall.

Each evening paired a feature film with short clips from the 2008 Westport Youth Film Festival. The August 4 opener was Juno (PG-13); August 11 brought Across the Universe (PG-13); August 18 featured Cloverfield (PG-13); and August 25 closed with a marathon of The Office. Student filmmakers came from as far as Budapest, Seattle, and California. Free pizza for the first ten arrivals; popcorn and snacks available for purchase.
