Vladivostok, Russia: Films of Famous Directors will be Shown Outdoors on Beach

The VI International Film Festival of Asian-Pacific Region Countries, “Pacific Meridian,” held outdoor screenings in Vladivostok in August 2008. Under the programme “The Other Cinema: Documentary Music,” films by directors including Jean-Luc Godard, Emir Kusturica, Wim Wenders, Bram Van Splunter, and Jim Jarmusch screened at the open grounds of the Seven Feet yacht club. The outdoor venue was chosen to give Primorye residents an unconventional experience of these directors' work.
