Beaverton, Oregon: Outdoor Movies by the Fountain

Every August, Beaverton, Oregon screens movies at Beaverton City Park on an inflatable screen approximately 50 feet wide by 30 feet tall. The free Flicks by the Fountain event has drawn as many as 1,500 people. Hall Boulevard is closed during the screening; the image and sound reach the area in front of the Beaverton City Library as well.

  • Pre-movie entertainment at 8 p.m.; movie begins at dusk (approx. 8:10-8:40 p.m.)
  • Free admission; outside food and beverages welcome; concessions also available
  • Low-back chairs and blankets recommended; no pets, no alcohol, no smoking
  • Cancelled in rain or lightning; parking near the library and Farmers Market lot
