The Unexpected Return of the Drive-In

The changes we have all experienced in so many areas of our lives the last few months have been tremendous.

At the beginning of the COVID19 outbreak the Open Air Cinema management team feared that this may be the end of outdoor movies for the foreseeable future.

Luckily our savvy well informed customers have found some very effective ways to continue with their usual outdoor movie schedule and still stay safe and compliant.

One of the first questions people ask is "How many people will this screen accommodate?" 

Over the last few months we've seen people asking a different question, "How many cars will this screen accommodate!?"

Although New York has been one of the hardest hit areas in the USA the local government has decided to allow the drive-in movie to continue! 

We were recently made aware of an Open Air Cinema customer that used a 16' Screen to draw a crowd of cars to watch a movie at their diner. 

This not only provided some much needed entertainment and a good excuse for locals to get out of the house, but increased revenue for the diner that night.

Our outdoor movie screens are easily converted to Drive-In Screens with the simple addition of an FM-Transmitter.
