The Downtown Novato Family Outdoor Movie Series Continues With 'Hotel For Dogs' in Novato, California

The Downtown Novato Family Outdoor Movie Series will continue this year with outdoor films on four consecutive Friday evenings, July 10 to 31. The series, sponsored by Continental Jewelers and the Downtown Novato Business Association, will be on Sherman Avenue in downtown Novato. A 30-foot inflatable movie screen will be set up in the street, and residents should bring their own chairs. Half of Sherman Avenue will be closed to traffic during the event. There will be entertainment, music and food beginning at 5 p.m.; movies will begin 15 minutes after sunset, at about 8:30 p.m. The schedule: July 10, "Hotel For Dogs"; July 17, "Madagascar 2 - Escape to Africa"; July 24, "Journey to the Center of the Earth"; and July 31, teen night, "Twilight."
