Seattle, Washington: Three Dollar Bill Outdoor Cinema Screens Outdoor Movies in the Park in Seattle, Washington
by Caleb Mitchell
Looking for an outdoor movie experience that's, well, a little different? Forget family-friendly blockbusters like Bedtime Stories and Hotel For Dogs. Three Dollar Bill Outdoor Cinema presents eclectic outdoor movies that you won't see anywhere else... and we mean anywhere. This summer they have been screening an outdoor film series entitled "I Want My 1980", but these are truly cult classics -you won't find popular picks such as Ghostbusters or Ferris Bueler's Day Off. Nonetheless, these are some really fun films that will take you back and give you a one-of-a-kind outdoor cinema experience.
Two of the three films have already passed, so don't miss the final installment of Three Dollar Bill Outdoor Cinema's 1980 series. Despite the cinema's name the films are free, thanks to its generous sponsors. Outdoor movies begin at sunset (around 8:30-9 pm) at the southeast corner of Capitol Hill's Cal Anderson Park, adjacent to the Bobby Morris Playfields. There will be snacks and beverages for sale on-site.
