Businesses Wanted to Back Outdoor Movie Weekend

Outdoor Movies Maidenhead BerkshireThe curtain goes up on a free outdoor cinema spectacular in , Berkshire () next month – and the search is on for business backing.

There’s still time to join the prestigious list of businesses already signed up to support Maidenhead at the Movies from July 25-27.

“We already have sponsors for seven of the eight films we will be showing over the weekend,” said Steph James, Maidenhead town manager. “So anyone wanting to sponsor the last remaining film should get in touch as soon as possible – although we also have lots of other sponsorship opportunities for companies to have their advertising messages displayed on the screen between films as well.

“We would like to see as many local businesses as possible getting into the community spirit and taking part in this great event.”

A giant screen will be set up in Kidwells Park showing films for all the family over the weekend.

Stockton, United Kingdom: Choose Your Own Outdoor Movie

The organizers of the Heath Festival have come up with an interesting idea to involve their audience make in their outdoor movie event by allowing them to choose what film to watch at the open air cinema.

The film with the most votes will be shown on a big movie screen at Mill Lane Common, Parkgate Road where the audience can take advantage of the Hog Roast.

Log on to www.stocktonheathfestival.co.uk to chose your favorite film. Will it be last years blockbuster ‘Stardust’ starring Michelle Pffiefer, the classic Michael Caine film ‘The Italian Job, the original high school musical ‘Grease’ starring John Travolta or the spectacular spectacular ‘ Moulin Rouge’ starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

The outdoor movie showing will take place on July 11 at 9.30pm. People are asked to bring blankets, a chair or cushion to sit on.

The minimum donation on the night is £1 and will be used for the Stockton Heath Festival 2009.
