There’s plenty to do at Angel Fire from May through October. world-class mountain biking, golf on their 18-hole PGA championship course, ATV tours, Eurobungy, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf on the highest-altitude course in New Mexico (free to play, but requires a lift ticket or season pass to access the chairlift to the top of the Chile Express), rock climbing wall, river rafting, horseback riding, hiking, outdoor photography, and art exhibitions. This will be the seventh season for free Friday night Movies Under the Stars at the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course. The driving range makes the perfect spectator venue for the 50-foot inflatable movie screen and theater-quality surround sound.

Angel Fire, New Mexico is mixing the magic of the movies with the beauty of the mountains as its Movies Under the Stars program returns to for its fifth straight season. Here you can enjoy outdoor movies with friends and family, and it features all your favorite movies of the summer. The outdoor cinema program has been very successful in the years past, and it is only expected to grow in popularity.

The 2008 movie line-up included Casino Royale, Surf’s Up, Superman Returns and Transformers.

The event is being offered to the public free of charge –- complete with free popcorn. As the evenings tend to get chilly, movie goers are encouraged to bring to the outdoor films chairs, blankets, jackets, picnic baskets, and other materials to make the movie more comfortable and enjoyable.
