Downtown’s outdoor movie series began its 10th season on the 7th with “Adam’s Rib,” a 1949 comedy starring Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. The outdoor films are planned to continue throughout the summer.
Outdoor movies are screened at 7:30 p.m. every Thursday through October at La Placita Village, at West Broadway and Church Avenue. You get free popcorn with your donation of $3.
Here’s the schedule for May. The rest of the lineup is TBA.
May 14 — “Cool Hand Luke.”
May 21 — “Topper.”
May 28 — “We’re No Angels.”
