Outdoor movies and a dip in the pool will be the perfect way to beat the heat this summer in Halfway, Maryland. The Splash Bash outdoor cinema event will be at the swimming pool at Martin E. “Marty” Snook Memorial Park in Halfway Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m. The movie “Shark Tale” will be shown on an inflatable movie screen while families swim in the pool.
Outdoor movies are always a fun family activity and for one dollar per person, every Halfway family will be there. Don’t miss this great opportunity to enjoy a movie under the stars with friends and neighbors this July.
Washington County Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the outdoor film event. Admission costs $1 per person. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for the movie. Those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The movie will begin at sunset.
