Each Friday, free outdoor movies are screened in Duluth’s beautiful Leif Erikson Park, but this week only the date has been switched to Sunday. These outdoor cinema events are very popular, so come early to stake out a spot in front of the giant inflatable movie screen. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket and/or chair to sit on. Food and refreshments will be available, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Also, smoking is prohibited except in designated areas. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after. If the weather is too bad to show the movie, an announcement will be made at showtime.
