The annual Crescent Hill Outdoor Cinema Series returns with the 1979 cycling-themed film “Breaking Away” at 8 p.m. Friday at the Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Ave. A favorite summer event in years past, this outdoor film is not to be missed.
The outdoor movie is free to the public, and those who bike to the event will receive a free bag of popcorn. The summer series is sponsored by the Crescent Hill Community Council, Metro Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh, Heine Brothers, Frankfort Avenue Business Association/F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop, Wild and Woolly Video, Peterson-Dumesnil House and Taste Fine Wines and Spirits. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
